Each microlot brings with it a unique story of its relationship with the surrounding - the microbes, the bees & birds and various elements of biodiversity – all of which express itself in distinctive and manifold ways in the coffees.
In Luvasingh village, Sonnai Nageswarao discovered his passion for coffee early on to the extent that he volunteered to set up & maintain a biocentre for C100 production in the village. An herbal bioinoculant used both as a direct soil composting stimulant and foliar spray, C100 helps boost plant and soil health. The resulting active soil microbiome gives the bean in Gems107 an additionally rich and complex cup profile. Fertile, rocky slopes and well-diversified shade in the farm further fortify the coffee’s nuances.
