Women play a vital role in agriculture and are fundamental to achieving food security. Like most female farmers in Araku, Somelli Mothi is a shining example of a strong force deeply committed to sustainable coffee production.

Diligent Somelli tends to coffee with the utmost care and has ensured strict adherence to the regenerative way of growing coffee and pepper - with a key focus on bioinoculant application that foster a healthy farm ecosystem. Her husband Malleshwar Rao, a railway engineer and farmer, has established a training network within the village to share, assist and inspire the next generation of farmers to take up coffee cultivation.

Their collective efforts have borne fruit in the form of Gems233 – a refined, complex, fruity coffee with rich notes of orange, jasmine, and a silky body.
