Araku has been created by the coming together of international coffee experts and the farmers of our cooperative. Together, they have made this journey possible: creating the first fully integrated value chain of coffee.
In addition to our pursuit of excellence for great coffee, is a commitment to ensure that most of the economic returns get ploughed back straight to the Araku farmers rather than to investors or middlemen. The benefits are direct, with traceable exchange. But most importantly it creates a virtuous cycle so that a continuous information feedback loop enables farmers, processors and cuppers share their experiences in order to achieve excellence from seed to cup. Shared value facilitates this holistic excellence and guarantees profits to farmers.
