Breeding Biodiversity

Gems110

The farmers of Sangodi village have a visceral connection to 2C’s – Coffee & Community. The farmers advocate gentle pruning to guide new growth, enrich biodiversity using bio- amendments to secure the wellbeing and longevity of the coffee bush. For them, like all farmers of Araku, coffee farms are their most precious asset.

The ideal of the collective is visible in coffee farms where both - grey-haired older farmers tend to their farms along with the youth who are readily embracing regenerative agriculture. It is this combination of experience and new learning that makes coffees like Gems110 exhibit their maximum potential both in the farm productivity as well as in the cup.
