Dark Fusion (Dark chocolate, dark fruit, caramel, plum, blueberry)

GEMS62

30-year-old Mohan Babu is a proud owner of 1-acre coffee and pepper farm in Gurra Garuvu village featuring a rare and exceptional Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) of 2.1%. Araku coffee farmers have moved away from mono-cropping. Instead, farmers like young Mohan Babu grow diverse crops to create a balanced ecosystem – one where various crop microorganisms work together to support each other’s growth. Coffee and pepper form a perfect pair.

Coffee provides shade to growing pepper vines while pepper acts as a natural pest control for coffee. A volunteer trainer himself, Mohan has had the opportunity to learn all about regenerative agriculture from Master trainers at Naandi and hone his farming skills. For him, coffee and pepper are his biggest assets.

Nurtured by the carbon-rich soil of his farm, Gems62 has notes of dark chocolate, dark fruit, caramel, plum and blueberry.
