Indigenous Collaboration (Plum, balanced, cherry, blueberry)

GEMS113a

Suri Babu and family were one of the early adopters of regenerative agriculture practices in village Gurra Garuvu. For nearly a decade, their diligent efforts and routine practices have been nourishing the farm’s soil, garnering abundant organic matter and nutrients from a variety of indigenous forest and fruit trees.

As a volunteer trainer for Naandi, Suri Babu champions the ‘Araku way’ of growing coffee and has been instrumental in skilling young farmers to transform their farms with his expertise. As Suri Babu’s responsibilities grew, so did those of his wife and mother, who stepped up to secure coffee farm’s prosperity.

Together, the farmer family has created Gems113 – a well-nourished, balanced coffee with hints of blueberry, plum and cherry. This is one of the highest-scoring coffees of the season and a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication.
