Tradition Forward (Plum, raisin, prune, cocoa, juicy, spice, sweet finish)

GEMS262

If you are looking for a stellar coffee with notes of cocoa and spice with a sweet finish, look no further! J. Thamanna and Kumari’s farm from village Geddavalasa offers Gems262.

Over the last few years, the farmer family had keenly observed soil, farm and produce transformation in the coffee farms of their neighbouring villages, along with economic prosperity. These neighbouring villages had been supplying premium quality coffee to SAMTFMACS – Araku’s coffee cooperative for many years.

Inspired and determined, the farmer family bet on peer-to-peer learning to incorporate healthy farm practices and go back to their roots, literally. As a result, the coffee quantity tripled and its exceptional quality made it this year’s top microlots with cupping notes of plum, raisin, prune, cocoa and spice with a sweet finish.

It is this collective learning that is carrying forward the tradition of regenerative practices in Araku.
