Soil Science (Milk chocolate, caramel, honey, fruit cake, complex, tangerine and balanced)

GEMS228

Majji Bala Krishna and Varahalamma of Kangarumamidi village are recent addition to Naandi’s growing family of young farmers. Bala Krishna fondly reminisces days working on their 1-acre farm with his father. “Coffee was in its early stages then and its quality was notably different”, he says.

The duo started supplying specialty coffee in 2019, and their hard work has paid off within two short years. Gems223 is their new born. The farmer family attributes coffee’s success to the diligent application regenerative bioinoculants that foster a thriving environment for an active soil microbiome that enriches the bean.

The resulting coffee has complex notes of honey, caramel, fruit cake, and tangerine – a distinct flavour indeed!
