This coffee-producing veteran envisioned a better future for his family. A coffee farmer since 2013, he joined Naandi four years ago and nurtured his coffee plot year after year with great care and hope.
He improved his coffee farming practices and learned the secrets of the soil and the art of producing specialty coffee. His dedication and skills reaped benefits this harvest season when he earned more than double the income from last year. With it he invested in what was most important: children's education for better opportunities in the future, purchased household essentials, and saved the rest in the bank for his family's financial security.
Each coffee cherry he harvested carries a promise of a brighter tomorrow. His journey from a humble beginning to a successful coffee farmer was proof of his patience, hard work, and a reminder that it is never too late to change for the better.

Coffee Description
Moisture: 10%
Cupping Notes: A coffee that has sweetness of forest honey, sweet spices, caramel, balanced with black tea, citrus, spices, cedar with a nutty hint. With smooth mouthfeel, silky body and brown sugar notes, it presents a variety of flavors from purple fruits, plums and raisins to dried cherry, chocolate, milk chocolate, baked apple and sugar cane. This clean coffee with its crisp acidity, floral notes, herbally honey undertones and long finish is reminiscent of high quality barley tea - a unique affair indeed.
