Lot GEMS 18023: Diversity & Skill
This first-generation coffee farmer - and a four-year-old Naandi coffee partner tends to his four-acre coffee plot with utmost care allowing the diversity of trees, soil, and the world beneath the soil to guide him. His plot stands proudly, shaded by fruit and forest trees interwoven with pepper vines and coffee bushes, while his hands implement practices that act as a catalyst for increased yield and quality. Once upon a time the coffee bushes that grew tall producing low coffee yields, now are kept at an optimal height through timely bush management - pruning and centering, optimal shade management - allowing sunlight and air to seep through and embrace every branch thus encouraging new growth, leading to healthier bushes and increased quality of cherries.
Each coffee cherry harvested in this lot carries in it the sweet and clean notes of Araku's farm diversity and the farmer's precise skill.
All the Lots are traceable to the farmers. Winners of the lot will receive complete Lot Information
