Lot GEMS 5115: Global Experts, Local Brew: Mango, prunes, guava, papaya, exotic

Since 2009, farmers of Araku have worked hand-in-hand with global experts to build on their traditional knowledge and improve the quality of the bean steadily. GEMS 5115 is another step in that direction.

Korra Guru & Suryanarayan's journey with Naandi Foundation began way back in 2006 in village Gummaguda. The dedicated couple, along with their 3 sons, have created a model farm, characterized by enriched soil fertility and diverse shade plantation – all essential ingredients for crafting the rich flavors of Araku coffee.

Their commitment extends to every aspect of coffee cultivation, from mulching to nurturing the soil with bio-inputs. Surrounding their coffee bushes with a diverse array of fruit, forest and shade trees adds layers to the flavor profile. The resulting coffee is a truly exceptional brew with floral aromas mingled with hints of honey, black tea and juicy melon.
