Plum Reserve (Blackberry, plum, layered, transparent, red wine, juicy and whiskey barrel)

GEMS270

In village Gurra Garuvu, nestled at a lofty altitude of 4000 ft, lies a coffee farm that exudes a charm of its own. Enterprising Korra Venkat Rao and Anita’s farm is replete with towering Teak and Silver Oak trees that act as primary shade while Mango, Papaya and 8 other varieties offer secondary shade. This humble and hardworking couple have put their faith in Naandi to tell their story but for us, it is their coffee that tells the real story! In addition to coffee, their 2-acre farm is home to vigorous pepper vines. The farm’s deep, dark soil is rich in humus and moisture – a perfect ground to nurture specialty coffee. Carefully manicured coffee bushes and lush pepper vines yield a bountiful harvest each year, that forms the major source of income for the farmer family. A self-driven duo, Venkat Rao and Anita have started curating a small nursery of their own in the farm to further diversify and enhance soil and coffee quality. With layered and juicy notes of blackberry, plum, red wine, and whiskey barrel, Gems270 is an absolute delight for the senses.
