Sustainable Sips (Juicy, apricots, honey, blueberry, tropical fruit)

GEMS170

From microbes to earthworms - a complex web of life and balanced soil nutrients nourish the coffee plant from its roots to vibrant tips. It is this intricate ecosystem that elicits exquisite, intense and most satisfying flavours in Araku specialty coffee, year after year.

Nestled at an altitude of 4000 feet, Marri Seethamma's 2-acre coffee farm is shaded by a diverse canopy of fruit and shade trees. Her secret to success, she says, is multi-layered shade management that allow gradual & even ripening of the cherries, resulting in dense, flavourful coffees.

A mother of three, Marri Seethamma lost her husband in 2014 due to poor health. Despite the sudden loss, she persevered with immense courage and was determined to make coffee her way - slowly yet consistently, by allowing the nature in her farm bring out the best in the beans!

The result of her hard work is Gems170 - a juicy coffee with notes of apricots, honey, blueberry, and tropical fruit.
