Nature in coffee
Gems102
Pottangi Dasu joined Naandi in the year 2012. Since then, he has been growing fruit and forest species as intercrops in his coffee farm. This became the foundation of this stellar coffee – one that was nurtured by biodiversity both above and below the soil.
The plantations of Kothavalasa village are stone fenced, keeping the rich soils of the farm intact and minimising soil erosion. Araku soils are enriched by multi-cropping that lend distinct flavours to special coffees like Gems102.
